Route Cluses <> Sallanches
Departure Cluses
At the Vieux Pont, located in front of the Tourist Office, join rue Jumel in the direction of Sallanches. Then turn right along the Chemin de la Digue to pass under the motorway and follow the Arve, cross it and join the Chemin de Chamonix. After Magland, cross the Arve at the Crétet bridge and, on the left, the Arve promenade. Before the motorway, turn right and follow the motorway, then under the railway line and the D1205 to reach Oëx (Magland). A small road will take you to Luzier (Sallanches). At the old bridge, you can pass under the motorway to enter Sallanches and continue the route to Passy – Saint-Gervais-les-Bains, or cross the old bridge and continue the route to Les Houches via the market town of Passy.
Departure Sallanches
Go to the start of the greenway at the Pont de Saint-Martin. Cross Sallanches along the Arve. After the motorway interchange, take the road to Oëx via Luzier. After Oëx, pass under the departmental road, then the railway line. At the entrance to Magland, turn left, follow the Arve then left again to cross to the other side of the bank. Proceed on this road (Chamonix-Mottet road) to Lake Magland, next to Super U, then follow the greenway to Cluses.
Route Cluses <> Bonneville
Departure Cluses
Pick up the section of the greenway at the parking lot of the Musée de l'Horlogerie. Go along the Arve to Thyez. Cross the “Nant du Dard” canal footbridge and turn immediately right onto Chemin du Canal. At the end of the path, turn left on Rue du Carillon and take the greenway which resumes along the railway line. Cross Marignier and its footbridge then continue towards Bonneville for 3 km. At the Chez Millet artisanal zone, take the greenway on the right. The route again follows the railway line for 5 km.
Departure Bonneville
From Bonneville station, the route follows the railway line for 5 km. It first crosses the plain of the Arve and its pastures with views of the Ayze vineyard. At the Chez Millet artisanal zone, the route continues for 3 km on a shared track to the center of Marignier. It will take you to the “Nant du Dard” canal which it runs along and crosses to reach the Pont Vieux de Cluses along the Arve.
