For several years, Stéphane Bastian has been the owner of the refreshment bar on the shores of Lac Bénit in Mont-Saxonnex. Discreet by nature, he nevertheless willingly shares his passion for the lake, Bargy and his village, provided he lends an attentive ear. Meeting with this passionate Dumont…

The 3B rule: Bénit-Bargy-Bastian

“My name is Bastian Stéphane, I'm from Mont-Saxonnex. I got the bar back from my uncle who kindly gave it to me.

The story begins in 1951 with my grandfather and one of my aunts on the first two years. Then my uncle took over for 57 seasons before leaving his place to me. This is my 8th season. »

Always under the Bargy's eyes...

“The setting is nice, I like being in the middle of nature. I stayed there because otherwise I'm lost by going too far from Bargy and my church. I like meeting people. The refreshment bar is open from the beginning of June to the end of September.

In winter, I take care of a refreshment bar a little further down the ski slopes. I alternate between the two and I never stray too far from the Bargy. »
