With Nalani, it's a bit of an unlikely encounter with this young Tahitian, of Chinese origin, who lives in Mont-Saxonnex and who cooks delicacies to roll on the floor! His big smile always welcomes you for a tasting or explanations. It is with undisguised enthusiasm that it opens its doors to you here.

Pastry as a common thread…

“My name is Nalani Laux, I am of Chinese origin but born in Tahiti. I am a self-employed pastry chef in Mont-Saxonnex.

My passion comes from my childhood, I have always been very greedy. Pastry is often a moment of sharing and gustatory pleasure. It's still something very easy to achieve and above all, my pastry is still to have a natural offer and without the addition of preservatives or colorings, not too sweet, but still delicious. »

Organic AND gourmet!

"I'm organic and when you go to an organic store, you have the impression that people eat unsweetened things when there are still greedy people. It is for them that I created this range.

I like to convey things like for example with rum or things like that. We try to do more local but I still have in my range of spreads made with coconut milk and banana to have a vegan offer on a caramel. I still try to stay local and I work with seasonal fruits. »

Nature as a source of inspiration...

“I fell in love with this village in the middle of the mountains. It's very friendly and I'm very happy to also participate in the life of the village with my activity.

I will try, from this summer, to combine my activity with wild picking with everything that is found here in nature. It's great, with the edible and medicinal plants that we find. I will try to vary my box offer, with small wild creations. »
