How to play

Goal of the game :
Using the free Geocaching application on your smartphone and the game kit provided at the tourist office, you must solve 6 challenges in the forest before reaching the treasure.

The story :
You are a young squire and after many years of fighting you are back in your area. But before you find your castle, you must cross a forest haunted by a headless horseman ... will you triumph?

How to play :
Go to the Cluses tourist office to get your play kit. A kit is necessary for the whole family. Our team will explain to you how the Geocaching application works, which will help you find and solve the various puzzles along the route.

The route:
The path starts at the Lidl supermarket car park in Cluses and takes a path in the forest that will lead you to the church of Châtillon-sur-Cluses.
Upstairs you can buy your sandwiches at the Tiffany bakery and have a picnic in the grounds of the castle ruins.
The return is done by the same route. You can stop at the Coopérative du Val d'Arly to stock up on local products. A 5% reduction on your sales receipt will be granted to you upon presentation of the game booklet.

Game kit: 15 € (Price of the game kit for the whole family.).

Location:
Cluses is located in the valley, between the towns of Sallanches and Bonneville.

To do / to see in Cluses:
Visit the Watchmaking and Décolletage Museum, located upstairs above the Tourist Office, 100 place du 11 novembre.

Stroll in the cool along the Arve or go in search of remarkable heritage elements thanks to the "Au Fil du Patrimoine" route.

Eat and drink :
Close to the start of the course, the Coopérative du Val d'Arly allows you to prepare your picnic with good local products. You benefit from a 5% reduction on presentation of the game booklet. Picnic tables are also located at the start of the course.

At the end of the route, the Châtillon-sur-Cluses bakery will allow you to buy delicious sandwiches and pastries.

Going back down to Cluses, you will find many restaurants including Le Marysam, Le 8 Mai, Sur le Zinc and Tartempion, offering services adapted to children.

Find shade:
The game takes place mostly in the cool forest, but remember to equip yourself against the sun for the end of the course.

parking:
You will find a disc parking area in front of the Cluses Tourist Office to collect your booklet.

To start the game, park in the car park of the Lidl supermarket, located 350 avenue de Châtillon, in Cluses.

Bathroom :
There are no toilets on the course. The closest public toilets are at the Cluses train station.
