NOT AVAILABLE

This circuit, which is the longest of the routes offered if you choose to depart from Annecy, passes near the old Charterhouse of Reposoir and via the Col de la Colombière.

Direction of travel: clockwise.
Landmarks and connections: the Étroits bridge in St-Jean-de-Sixt and St-Pierre-en-Faucigny (junction and separation with the Tour des Glières n ° 45); Le Grand-Bornand.
TER stations: La Roche-sur-Foron; Good city ; Cluses.
Description: The Chartreuse du Reposoir, founded in 1151, is a listed monument that can be visited, although it is currently the seat of a Carmelite. Valéry Giscard d'Estaing celebrated his fourth year of presidency there in 1978, where he invited all the inhabitants of the town. Located at an altitude of 1000 m, it could constitute a break halfway up your ascent of the Col de la Colombière, (1613 m), which you will do by its northern slope, regardless of your city of departure. 'Annecy, you will be on a common route with the Tour des Glières n ° 45 to St-Pierre-en-Faucigny. If we consider that starting from Cluses you will not experience any difficulty in the course up to this same point, on the other hand be careful from there in any case. You will first have to follow the markers of a safe but relatively tortuous route, between Ponchy and Thuet. Then you will inevitably have to drive for 2 km on the edge of the formidable departmental 1205, whose traffic is nevertheless very fortunately slowed down by a roundabout and a left curve in which you will take, straight ahead, the direction of Marnaz and Scionzier. This relatively quiet section will take you back to Cluses or to the assault on Colombière, as the case may be. Note that by taking a TER between Annecy and La Roche-sur-Foron, you have the option of limiting your tour to ascent of the Colombière and around the Bargy itself.
