This hike under the Pointe d'Orchex offers beautiful views of the Arve valley, the Môle and the Bargy. Designed for young and old, this fun and educational route is offered to you to understand the characteristic environment of the territory.
During this walk on the heights of Thyez, follow the various information panels with the family to discover Mont Orchez and its natural heritage.
Classified as a Natural Area of Faunistic and Floristic Interest, Mont Orchez is at the crossroads of several territories. Its rocky and scree areas make it a privileged ground for many remarkable and protected plant species, such as the Orange Lily.
Nestled between the Môle and the Giffre massif, this small relief of the Chablais offers beautiful views of the Arve valley on its thylon side.
History, culture and heritage
Thyez is a city whose economy and urban landscape are very marked by industry (watchmaking then bar turning). Many Gallo-Roman remains have been found during excavations around the Romanesque parish church.

Always follow this direction, you will pass by "Le Coux de Marignier", "Sous le Coux", "La Bourbonnyre" and "Nierfait" before reaching your starting point.
