When looking for a quality store for our teas and coffees, one address: the Mont-Blanc roasting. We love Edith's wise advice, who selects quality products to please and have fun (yes, that's important too)!
The store opens its doors to you for a short visit…
THE valley specialist
“Hello, my name is Edith Molinier, I’m 29 years old and I’ve been running the shop ‘La Torréfaction du Mont-Blanc’ for a little over 6 years now. It’s an artisanal shop, specializing in the sale of exceptional teas and coffees. We have one wall with 115 different teas and we generally have 18 coffees in the shop. You’ll also find a whole range of tableware, chocolates, and small accessories to complement your favorite drinks.”
transmission of passion
“I took over an existing store. My father knew the previous owners well and knew they wanted to retire. The idea gradually matured: to finish my business studies and take over a business. The plan was to do my apprenticeship in the store for a year. They were able to teach me all the ins and outs of the trade, and I took over the business at the end of my apprenticeship.”
Quality as a key word
“For tea, I decided to work with the Dammann Frères brand. It’s a company that started as a family business, has grown considerably, but I think it has retained many of its original values. I like the way they select their products, always paying close attention to quality. For coffee, they work directly with the producers. This allows us to have complete traceability of our products and is an unparalleled guarantee of quality regarding pesticides and the quality of the beans, which is automatically reflected in the cup.”

Projects that infuse...
“My idea, which I’ve been holding onto for a while but haven’t had the chance to implement yet, is that I’d love to open a tea room. In my mind, it would simply be an extension of the shop. For me, there’s no logic in opening another space that isn’t attached to the shop. The idea is to offer tastings of our products, and if customers are satisfied, they could then buy them in the shop.”
