What is your background?

“I have worked in ski lifts since 2002. I started at POMA before becoming maintenance manager then operations manager at Mont d'Arbois, in Megève. »

What do you like about this job?

“What I like is the diversification. I like the technical aspect because it's mountain technique. It's an environment that I know and in which I like to evolve.
I work in tourism, so there is a big winter period during which I spend time with people who are on vacation and it's an atmosphere that I appreciate. Here particularly because the resorts are family-friendly. I am also fortunate to be able to work in the office and in the field. »

What does a typical day look like?

“I don’t have a typical day. As a general rule, there is always a time reserved for making contacts, processing emails, messages, etc. There is a big field part, especially at the moment because we are preparing for winter. I don't get bored and I adapt. »

What is your favorite place in the region?

“The mountain is a real playground. The proximity of the resorts from the valley means that access is very quick and there are a multitude of things to do. Thanks to my work, I very often gain height. From Romme I can see my valley, at Mont-Saxonnex and at Le Reposoir we are at the foot of Bargy and it is impressive. The view is magnificent regardless of the location. I love the 3 villages! »
