“It’s a profession that is truly specialized in watchmaking. I am a dial decorator and more particularly in miniature art. I've been immersed in this artistic side for a very long time, I studied art in Paris which led me to be a professional engraver. One thing led to another, and I began to meet people who allowed me to learn the artistic profession of micro-painting so that I could then make watchmaking dials. »

“My sources of inspiration are nature, well-being, calm, serenity. It’s when I’m calm and collected that creativity comes to me. The types of creations that I love are the micro-paintings that I can do for artistic dials, particularly for French watchmakers. I have 2 in the region which are in Annecy, the Arilus brand and the John-Mickaël Flaux brand which is in Besançon. »

“I settled in the Arve Valley to have easy transport for work because I am also a trainer in Geneva and it is a place that I like in the mountains. I also settled in this valley to help revive watchmaking, which has been a little lost because bar turning has taken over. I know that there is the watchmaking museum and the old watchmaking school in Cluses and I would like to help revive these trades of yesteryear. »
