Stretched over 200 kilometers (from Samoëns to Entremont-le-Vieux), you can venture on this trail in its entirety or choose only parts. It is a route very popular with local hikers: it alternates with wild areas, sometimes difficult to access.

The GR96 guarantees you a start of the route rich in sensations by crossing tourist places such as the trail of the refuge of Sales with its many waterfalls, the desert of Platé in Flaine, the crossing of the Arve valley to reach the col des Annes, or the passage to the Glières plateau before arriving at the famous Lake Annecy. You will take full eyes ... and the thighs too! The rest of the adventure passes through the Massif des Bauges regional park then stretches to Entremont in Savoie.
