Michèle Paccot is a well-known face of Cluses and for good reason: she has worked for years in associations and more particularly within the famous “Festival Committee” ...

Volunteering suits her well and makes her come alive. Impossible not to cross his smile during a Clusian demonstration. It is difficult for Michele to talk about herself, she prefers to talk about others… so, we are not little proud to have drawn the portrait of her.

Volunteering cannot be ordered, it's in the skin!

I have always volunteered!

In 1973, I was already making flowers for the music festival in Cluses!

Then I returned as treasurer to the Festival Committee in 1987. The President was then Thierry Bourget. I then worked with Paul Revereau, René Vaudey, Guy Durupt and Raymond Cartier, who is the current President.

Today I hold the position of secretary after having been treasurer since 2005.

My city, my "home"

I was born downtown. Cluses is my city.

I like seeing it animated, participating in its embellishment, making people happy… I receive as much as I give. Seeing people smile, children happy because they came to participate in our animation fills my heart with joy.

The queen of bougnettes

The party committee is also known for its donuts. I have certainly peeled tons of potatoes! One thing is certain… I did not peel them alone!

On the committee, we have such a nice office and a great team of 90 volunteers. They come when they can and when they want.

We all have a very pleasant time together and we are like brothers and sisters of heart.

We would like young people to join the committee, they are full of new ideas and we are waiting for the next generation.
