The beginning of the adventure
I started in mass distribution. We changed our lives, we came from the Paris region with my husband and 9 years ago, we moved to the mountains. It was starting to run through my head, I was not professionally aligned with my personal values. So I decided to open this little shop.
An original concept
Customers bring me clothes. In exchange, I give a voucher which is only valid in the store. The idea was to make it as similar as possible to bartering, people collect a voucher and leave with other clothes, the aim being to empty the cupboards a little, and to rotate because I think we have produced enough clothes for the next 10 years. I did a little tour of what already existed in the region, and I came across an adorable lady, Marine, whose concept I really liked and the concept of Barter your froc is similar to hers. What I like most is receiving clothes and finding little gems. I love it when someone brings me slightly old clothes, which you can no longer find in stores today and which have fabrics often with natural fibers, wool, cotton, which are less common now and especially better quality. What I love above all is the connection with people. We are in a small village that needs to be kept alive, the idea was to open a small shop in Mont-Saxonnex to humbly contribute to village life and to have a place where we can create connections. I often offer coffee, herbal tea, we chat and I meet my clients, I know them and that's what's most pleasant.

A new beginning at Mont-Saxonnex
We bought an old bar turning factory in which we started by renting workshops to creative artisans. We wanted to make it a place to meet, to connect, to share experience and knowledge, then I said to myself that we had to shop here. We had the premises and it went well with the idea of what we wanted to develop in this old factory.
