Physical disability

Cars are parked near the entrance to the accommodation, in a gravel courtyard. The entrance is less than ten meters from the parking lot. To get to the front door, the path is wide and only one small threshold of 4cm has to be crossed. The front door is 92cm wide with a 2cm threshold. The ground floor includes the living room and the kitchen to be shared with the owners. Everything is on one level, without any threshold or step. The ground floor has large volumes and it is therefore easy to move around. To get into the bedroom, you have to climb 16 steps 19cm high and 30cm deep. A handrail is present only on one side of the staircase. Once at the top of the staircase, the bedroom has no steps or thresholds The first floor is private and composed as follows: - A living room which gives access to a balcony. The door is a double-leaf glass door which has a threshold of 3cm. - A bedroom with a double bed whose door is 78cm wide. The bed is at a height of 50cm. The bedroom can be darkened by classic manual wooden shutters. - A bathroom with WC. The door is 83cm wide. THE WC is 40cm high. The shower measures 80cmx140cm with an 8cm step. The entrance to the shower is 55cm wide. If requested, it is possible to install a booster seat in the shower to sit on. Outside, access to the pool is through the entrance doors mentioned above. You have to go down the 10 steps and then another 15cm step. There is then an inclined ramp that allows you to go to the swimming pool, it is 89cm wide. The owners do not have a suitable launching device and steps allow entry into the water (see photos). The owners, nearby, will be attentive to the needs of the person. The owners have already had the opportunity to welcome a group of young people with motor disabilities.

Visual impairment

Mental handicap

The accommodation is in a small hamlet, on a road with few cars, so there is very little traffic. The house is partly fenced. The toilets are closed with a sliding lock. The bedroom cannot be locked. The bathroom mixer tap is thermostatic. There is a swimming pool in the garden. When not in use, it is covered. No suitable pictogram present. The owners, nearby, will be attentive to the needs of the person.
