If we had to talk about Léonie, a young 21-year-old ski instructor, it would be: Agy plateau, sharing and Nordic skiing! But not only ! With a life at 100 per hour and a communicative joie de vivre, discover with humor the daily life of these men and women who, depending on the season, adapt their professional activities and their passions.

To be born with skis on your feet!

“It's an activity that I discovered at the same time as my parents when I was little. Initially, it was just to walk around and have fun. Then I went to the discovery school of Agy home to take lessons and I had the chance to practice at Saint Sigismond primary school.

I have always loved this sport, starting from a pure moment of pleasure and sharing with my friends at the competition. In skiing, the confrontation makes me vibrate, that's what made me find myself at the Agy club and naturally continued to compete.

In addition to my studies and competition, I am currently in training to become an instructor.

Above all, skiing remains a great pleasure and allows me to have fun with my friends, to find myself in nature and to be able to contemplate it (sunrises and sunsets, skiing at night) and to see incredible landscapes. "

Ski instructor: between passion and sharing

“From my point of view, this job requires above all to share your passion, your sport with your customers (and show them the funniest silly things to do or recipes for the best fondue!).

In addition, the dissemination of pleasure and fun are for me the main watchwords, they are values that were instilled in me when I was young and which seem essential to me to disseminate. Showing clients that it is possible to progress while having fun regardless of the level seems important to me. The contact with the skiers is fantastic.

More than a sport, Nordic skiing is a game for all people and for all ages! ”

"Happiness is in yourself, at home, around you, and below you." Henri Estienne

“The Agy plateau is“ my home ”. I live in the village below, which is why I practice multiple activities on this area whatever the season.

I cannot do without it because every day the colors, the reliefs, the weather are different, which gives all the charm of the plateau.

The Nordic center is where I learned to ski with the instructors who are now my colleagues! This is one of the many reasons why I am attached to this place.

When I was little, we used to have a picnic with my parents to do the red track, today it has become my warm-up track. It was in Agy that I had my first falls, it is here that I progressed and that I won my first competition!

My past as a skier is nothing special but I have always loved competition and it still persists today, which is why I train to do long distance races.

Today, being a trainee instructor, teaching at Agy is close to my heart because the atmosphere is friendly, the resort is magnificent and nearby. ”
