Our friends from Manigod have invented a funny sledge for over a century: the paret. It all started with the children. A father built this sled so that his mouflets could swallow the kilometers in the snow to get to school. Well, some children have rather skipped school in paret rather than going to class, but that's what we like!

In Manigod we trust

Let us give back to the Manigodins and the Manigodines this brilliant idea! The paret was therefore invented at Manigod in 1908.

This magical sledge has withstood the fashions of all times. It is still there, as at the beginning!

What is the paret?

It is a small wooden sled, with only one shoe, equipped with a board allowing you to sit with one foot on each side of the sled. A vertical handle allows you to direct everything.
So beware, the authentic paret, the real one, the original, it is this one: with the shod shoe.

Because over time, some parets have modernized a bit by equipping themselves with a central ski or wider runners!

Y paret that it sends!

We admit, at the beginning it does not go by itself! But after a few good falls, you will eventually find your balance to start sending the glide. And there, you can even reach 80 km / h.

You will find some for hire at the Romme foyer.
