Love at first sight for the fight

“I did a lot of sports when I was younger – karate, judo, dance, football – but wrestling is the sport I connected with the most. It’s a very complete sport that requires intelligence, strength, endurance, flexibility, and many other qualities.”

His first steps at high level

"I have been French champion several times, Junior European Vice-Champion in 2016, 3rd at the European Championship (under 23) in 2018 in Bulgaria, 3rd at the Mediterranean Games in 2018 in Spain.

My best memory is when I became French champion for the first time; I was very young and very proud because it was the beginning of my elite career.

Faster, higher, stronger

“There’s really no secret to becoming a champion; like anything else, it requires a lot of hard work, patience, perseverance, and staying grounded—never forgetting where you come from. When I step onto the podium, I’m very moved and very proud of all the work I’ve put in, satisfied with the result but with the desire to reach even greater heights!”

On the road to the Olympic Games

"What's next for me are the Olympic qualifying tournaments, one in March which I unfortunately can't participate in due to an injury, and one in May which will be my one and only chance to try for Olympic qualification, to participate in the Olympic Games taking place this summer in Tokyo."

And the studies in all this ?!

"I obtained a BTS (Advanced Vocational Diploma) in assistant management in 2018, then I put my studies aside to focus on the Olympic Games. I would like to continue in human resources or administration afterwards."
