3 km from the village centre of Le Reposoir, towards the Col de la Colombière, at the place called Saint-Bruno, turn right at the sign "gîte d'étape 800 m", follow the road by car for 500m, park then continue on foot for 300m.
Parking is available near the "gite d'étape 800m" sign along the road.

Even though the building is not up to standard, the owners have already been able to accommodate people with disabilities, even wheelchair users.
For this to work, the person must be able to get up from the chair to go up the different steps in the accommodation or be able to be carried.
Similarly, owners can pick up people arriving in 4x4s or snowmobiles from the parking lot. A drop-off zone can be set up at the building's entrance, but the rather rough road will only be open to 4x4 vehicles.
For those wishing to walk, a car park is located a 10-minute walk from the accommodation. The path is sloping and involves a small incline.
Accessible access is via a secondary entrance, directly on the 1st floor. A 16cm step and then a threshold must be crossed to enter the building.

The building is composed as follows:
– In the basement (at garden level): a bedroom for two people with the possibility of adding an extra bed. There is a threshold to access the bedroom (see photos).
– On the ground floor: an 11cm step at the entrance to the cottage, then a 10cm threshold. There is a perforated gate in front of the entrance door, but the holes are less than 2cm.
A dormitory with 10 to 12 beds and bunk beds.
The floor comprises 3 showers, 3 sinks and 2 toilets.
A common room is also available to tenants, serving as a changing room, games room, etc.
On the ground floor, there is a step between each room.
– Between the ground floor and the first floor, 12 steps separate the two floors. The staircase is rather narrow but there is a handrail (see photos).
– On the 1st floor:
2 adjoining dormitories with 8 single beds each: access via a step.
1 bedroom with a small 5cm threshold, 2 double beds and a baby bed.
1 bedroom with no threshold or step, with 4 double beds.
One bedroom with a double bed and two single beds: there is a step at the entrance
1 men's bathroom and 1 women's bathroom without thresholds, equipped with showers with 2cm thresholds.
There is a shower adapted to disability standards.
None of the toilets meet disability standards.
– Between the 1st floor and the 2nd floor, a staircase of 14 steps separates the two levels.
Large dining room or reception room with a maximum capacity of 100 people.

Some rooms have curtains or shutters, others have neither curtains nor shutters.

The accommodation does not have a large bay window or a glass door.
The interior layout is not particularly contrasting.
Assistance dogs are accepted.
A motion detector at the rear of the building allows the garden to be lit.

The accommodation is set back from a busy road. It is located on a forest hiking trail where cars are prohibited (except in certain circumstances). The house is not fenced.
In bathrooms, the taps are push-button type (so no temperature adjustment is required).
