Do you like birdsong and prefer the smell of fresh grass to that of exhaust fumes? Take the route far from the main roads, in the middle of nature.

On foot or by bike, with the family or alone

Suitable for all tastes, this cycle route is largely protected and secure, away from traffic. Goodbye cars and motorcycles, get on your bike for a nice trip on the banks of the Arve. The route does not present any major difficulty, and in addition, it is quite flat!

From the Geneva / Annemasse urban area, you will cross many municipalities as well as long crossings in the middle of nature. Along the Arve, you will then reach the towns of Bonneville, Cluses, Sallanches and Chamonix. The route hardens at the end with the ascent through Le Fayet to end in Les Houches, at the foot of Mont-Blanc. Be careful with the thighs, it will heat up!

A new section between Cluses and Magland

Thanks to a footbridge crossing the Arve river, you can reach Cluses in Magland in complete safety on the new "green way". This lane is reserved for the circulation of soft modes: you can therefore get around on foot, by bike, in a wheelchair, by skateboard, rollerblading, by scooter, stroller, etc. The sound of the water on the rocks will make you forget that you are not far from the valley.
