Fabienne Paire, a ceramic artist and potter, draws inspiration from nature, and her background in botany enriches her work. Based in Mont-Saxonnex, her art reflects her attachment to raw materials and natural influences.

I am Fabienne Paire and I am a ceramic potter.

The brilliance of white sandstone

I shape a white stoneware clay from Barcelona, slightly chamotted. From the first firing, it reveals a bright white, which allows me to rework my colors later.

When nature invites itself into ceramics

My main source of inspiration is, unsurprisingly, nature. My background in botany, enriched by several training courses and studies, complements my work as a ceramicist. I incorporate real plants into my creations, giving them a unique and organic feel.

A trip to Mont-Saxonnex

It was after meeting my partner, a mountain guide, that I found myself in the village of Mont-Saxonnex. Haute-Savoie, ideal for his profession, was a natural choice. As for me, being able to work with clay anywhere, we ended up here, in Mont-Saxonnex!
