Visite à la ferme de Sommier d'Aval "Les Cabrettes"

La ferme des Cabrettes offers 2 sites:

1) At Le Reposoir: Sommier d'Aval Alpine Pasture (until September 3rd): Toni is happy to show visitors his goat farm: via a guided tour of the goat barn and the production of Chevrotin cheese (followed by the transformation of milk into cheese). Production and sale of Chevrotin (AOP), Tomme de Chèvre (goat's cheese), and Sérac cheese.

– Guided tour with commentary, on Mondays and Thursdays from 17pm, goat milking at 15:15pm.
– Sale of cheeses at the chalet every day.
– Access on foot only: allow 45 minutes walk from the Lanche car park (approximately 1.3 km and 200m D+) or 1 hour walk from Vallon (approximately 2.1 km and 280m D+).
In the village, head towards the Carmel (monastery) and follow the signs for "Parking de la Lanche".
– Bring closed walking shoes.

2) In Sallanches (from 01/11 to 15/05):
– Guided and commented tour, free, Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
– Sale of cheeses (Chevrotins AOP silver medalist at the CGA Paris 2015, goat cheese tommes and serac)
every day from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 16 p.m. to 30 p.m., except Sunday morning.

From 01/07 to 03/09 on Monday and Thursday.
– Visit to the farm on Mondays and Thursdays from 15:00 p.m.
– Milking of the goats every day from 17pm.
– Sale of cheeses every day on the farm.
