Outside the Walls Outing: Departure at 18:15 p.m. from Cluses to Malraux National Stage in Chambéry to see the shocking play by German playwright Bertolt Brecht
From 14 years.
The shocking play by German playwright Bertolt Brecht, written between 1935 and 1938 while he was in exile, dissects the mechanisms of the establishment of terror in a society then subjected to the rise of Nazism.
Julie Duclos's polished and elegant staging shows how fascist ideology insinuates itself everywhere, to the point of becoming commonplace and fracturing everyday life.
In a masterful scenography with multiple changes, we follow this succession of scenes from ordinary life where all the characters, doctors, farmers, researchers, judges, children... are overcome by fear: the fear of speaking, the fear of trusting, the fear of being betrayed. A resolutely contemporary theatrical fresco that acutely recounts what, even today, threatens our societies.
The bar is open 1h30 before the start of the show and offers gourmet snacks in a warm atmosphere. We offer different formulas: salty, sweet for big and small appetites, adapting as best as possible to your desires.
