Somaye Pakar, painter
Somaye Pakar is of Iranian origin and studied visual arts in Tehran.
“Part of my art is inspired by my past and my culture. I express my emotions and inner pressures through my drawings and my glass art, a personal technique. The fragility of glass reflects the fragility of life, but also that of women in societies that demand more care and attention.”
The second series is inspired by the beauty discovered while living in this magnificent region of the Mont Blanc region.

Somaye Pakar will be present at the media library on Saturday, August 1st from 14pm to 16pm and on Saturday, August 22nd from 10am to 12pm to discuss her artistic work.

An exhibition of artwork created by residents of the Sans-Souci care home in Cluses during art therapy sessions led by art therapist Laurie Brun Patissier. A time to develop creativity, build self-confidence, and boost self-esteem.
