Description

At the Reposoir, you play as the companions of the monk John of Spain and will have to fight dark forces in order to unlock the secret of the village. You will have to build a haven of peace there for centuries to come. But will you be up to it?

Goal of the game :
Using a digital tablet available for hire from the Reposoir tourist office, you will set off into the village for a stroll during which you will have to take on various challenges to help John of Spain complete his quest.

What is the difference with the long route?
This route lasts about 1h45 and measures 3.2km. There are 4 less trials to complete. The long course lasts about 3 hours and measures 4.5km.
The short course is ideal for younger children, people who do not want to walk too long.
Last availability for the short route: 16 p.m.

How to play :
Go to the Reposoir tourist office to collect your tablet. This contains the story and the path of the game. It is with it that you will be able to solve the puzzles and orient yourself.

Do I have to book?
We have a limited number of tablets. It is best to reserve your tablet to ensure you can play when you come.

The route:
The path begins at the Reposoir tourist office and follows a loop in the village which will take you near the Carmel of Reposoir (which you will have time to visit) then into the forest before bringing you back to your starting point. There are no major difficulties on the way. However, part of it is in the sun without shade and it can be hot there. It is necessary to be in good physical condition and to have walking shoes or sneakers to complete the route.

Location:
Le Reposoir is located in the middle of the mountains, a 15-minute drive from Cluses.

To do / see in the village:
In the village you will find a playground, a football field (the Tourist Office lends you a ball on request) and other hiking options.

Several farms offer guided tours. Do not hesitate to come and inquire in our tourist information office.

It is also possible to visit Carmel on your own or with a Savoie Mont Blanc Heritage Guide by booking on 04 50 89 86 68 or 06 81 70 17 44.

Eat and drink :
You can picnic in the shade near the Chapel of Blessed John of Spain or on the grass next to the church.

For sun lovers, there are picnic tables in the village and near the Tourist Office.

If necessary, the grocery store at the entrance to the village allows you to buy food and drink.

The hotel-restaurant La Chartreuse offers a children's menu, high chairs and a changing table. You can also have a drink or eat a homemade ice cream on the terrace.

Find shade:
The game takes place partly in the cool forest, but the sun is often present on the course.

parking:
Numerous spaces on the church square and in the camper van parking lot.

Bathroom :
The toilets are located in the camper van parking lot, about 300 m from the Reposoir tourist information office.
