Near the lakes and in a superb landscaped setting, you will find many facilities for your leisure activities.
Thyez can take advantage of the presence of two lakes on its territory: one is reserved for fishing and the other for swimming. Swimming is authorized during the summer period, under the supervision of two qualified lifeguards. The sandy beach, cleaned and rehabilitated daily in summer, will delight young and old. The water quality is checked regularly.
It is in the fishermen's lake, fed by a canal, that adults and children alike will cast their lines to catch trout, pike or other varieties of fish. Don't forget your fishing license! You can obtain it from the 4 tourist information offices in the area (Cluses, Mont-Saxonnex, Le Reposoir, Romme).
On the site there are other facilities available free of charge such as: picnic tables, barbecues, a children's play area, a skate park, a mogul field, a sports course with fitness equipment, ping-pong tables, volleyball and badminton courts, pétanque courts…
You will also find 18 secure individual bicycle shelters nearby (don't forget your padlock).
