Step-by-step directions: From the town hall to "Chez Bouvier": 25 minutes. From the town hall, head towards La Joux via Chemin du Jourdil. The path climbs alongside a small stream and then descends to rejoin the local road at a bend. At the Chemin du Jourdil sign, descend onto the paved road to enter the hamlet of La Joux. In the hamlet, at the Croix de la Joux crossroads, turn right to descend the Route de la Joux and cross the main road, following the signs for Pont de la Motte via Chez Bouvier. Continue for 50 meters along the main road towards the church of Saint-Sigismond. Take the path on the left into a field, following the marker post in front of the house. Cross the fields and follow the marker posts to Le Planey, then to the Chez Bouvier sign. From Chez Bouvier to Pont de la Motte: 10 minutes. At the Chez Bouvier sign, follow a grassy path to the left below the house towards Pont de la Motte (10 minutes). The path crosses the local road several times to take you to Pont de la Motte. From Pont de la Motte to Saint-Sigismond Town Hall: 1 hour 15 minutes. At the bridge, retrace your steps back to Chez Bouvier and then take the road towards Saint-Sigismond via Croix du Chêne (55 minutes). The path climbs and crosses the local road and then the main road to Croix du Chêne. From there, take the road towards Saint-Sigismond (10 minutes) and then a flatter path.
