After several years in sales management, Didier Lathuille is now the president of a family business with more than 60 employees. The family business Lathuille Hudry specializes in precision machining for the aeronautics, defense and industrial markets.
A family story
"It all began in 1926 when my great-grandfather and his brother-in-law founded the screw-machining company 'Lathuille-Béné,' which became 'Lathuille-Hudry' in 1951. Initially, it produced parts in large series using a traditional screw lathe. In the 1980s, a technological shift occurred with the purchase of our first CNC machine, which opened the door to increasingly complex parts and smaller production runs. Starting in the 2000s, following the construction of a new site in the town of Marnaz, my uncle Pierre took the initiative to direct part of our business towards the aerospace and defense markets. Today, this represents 45% of our portfolio."

New life
“We are working towards a positive impact on our environment, on a social, economic, and ecological level. In March 2017, in collaboration with 17 other local companies, Lathuille Hudy became a founding member of the GREEN association (Group for Corporate Environmental Responsibility) . Today, approximately 70 companies are members. The objective of this network is to unite businesses around projects that benefit our region, focusing on three themes: sustainable mobility, energy efficiency in buildings, and the local circular economy. In short, it's about coming together to work in an agile and proactive manner to implement concrete actions.”
