Christophe Roux, president of the Gypaète Trail, launched this event with friends to showcase the region's diverse landscapes. The 2025 edition will take place on June 7th with five race formats ranging from 5km to 14,5km. All in a natural setting, between lakes and peaks.

My name is Christophe Roux and I am the president of the Gypaète Trail.

A group of friends… and miles of trails!

Originally, I used to do a lot of running and trail running, but I had to take it easy due to back problems. That's what prompted me to create this event with a few friends. My goal was to show that our region is full of magnificent viewpoints and endless trails. You can run anywhere here without ever passing through the same place twice!

A trail, five ways to enjoy it!

The event will be held on June 7th, as always the first weekend in June. There are five race formats in total, each with a different distance.

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced runner, the 14 km is perfect for a first experience: it is fast, with a nice climb at the start which offers a superb view of Lake Bénit.
And for those who walk a bit and want to experience the event in a different way, I recommend the Circaète. It's 30 km long, the route is magnificent, and time flies!
