It's seasonal work; I've been working seasonally for years. I enjoy interacting with people, even though I'm not much of a talker.
Move from one subject to another
“I have a dual occupation: I stay home in the winter and I’m a lumberjack in the summer. I’ve been a seasonal worker for over 10 years and it’s a lifestyle that suits me well. It provides a break in the year. You see other people and you do other things; it’s a lifestyle that suits me well.”
Next season, I'll be a forestry worker for the ONF (National Forestry Office), which keeps me working outdoors. I need that: in winter, I'm quite comfortable now, warm and less dependent on the weather and its vagaries. And in summer, it's a real joy to work outside.
