You see, there are plenty of reasons to visit this place. And we haven't yet told you about the kindness and hospitality of Anne-Sophie and Bertrand, who run this business. A business that works
“We are Bertrand and Anne-Sophie, the two managers of Bivouac Malté. We opened Oscar la Montagne about 6 years ago and decided to open Bivouac Malté a year and a half ago, still in Marnaz. We wanted to stay in the same town, the same atmosphere. We already had our other restaurant in Marnaz, we opened our first food truck and in the end we were in Marnaz.”
The call of the sea…. then from the Arve!
“For a while, we really wanted to leave, we visited places, then we came back to Chamonix, we saw lots of things. In the end, everything meant that we kept coming back to the same place, to this space, which is why we finally decided, after a while, to settle down here. This allowed us to really expand.”
So we really decided to stay in the Arve Valley; it was our core business, it was where we'd been present for six years already, so we had all our customers, we were able to reconnect with everyone and delight everyone once again.

We spend a lot of time searching for our suppliers to ensure we bring in high-quality, fresh products and to build genuine relationships with them. For us, that's what's really important: understanding how the people we work with so we can then explain the products we sell to our customers in the best possible way.
