A turning point in life
“I obtained a professional bac CGEA (conduct and management of agricultural operations) at the MFR (Maison Familiale Rurale) in Cruseilles in 2005. I then worked as an agricultural employee at GAEC Les Marmottes in Brison until 2012. I stopped my salaried activity at the end of 2012 due to a health problem.
Once I recovered, I could not see myself stopping farming, so it was at that time that I decided to settle down as a goat to adapt the working techniques to my health concerns.
The goat is a more docile animal than the cow. They are very sociable, pleasant animals, and easier to manage alone. The start-up investment is also lower. Today at the goat farm there are 70 Alpine goats, 15 young goats and 2 billy goats.
So I started my project in 2013 and moved with the goats to the Oulettes building on June 10, 2016. ”
