Plain Lakes

• Thyez: fishermen's lake, Thyez leisure center in the city center. Course of 2^th category.
• Magland: Chamonix lake and Balme lake. The two lakes are side by side. Access by the national 205 from Magland, take the direction of the Black Tower then the place called Chamonix. Course of 2^th category.

Mountain Lakes

• Carroz d'Arâches and Flaine (Arâches-la-Frasse): 
  • Lac de l'Airon, 15 minutes walk from the car park on the Flaine road after Les Molliets (Arâches-la-Frasse. Route of 1^st category.
  • Lac de Vernant, 20 minutes walk from the Vernant car park on the road to Flaine. Course of 1^st category.
  • Lac de Flaine, 30 minutes walk from the center of the resort of Flaine. Course of 1^st category.
• Mont-Saxonnex: Lac Bénit, 1 hour walk from Bété to Mont-Saxonnex. Course of 1^st category.

Rivières

• Throughout the valley: The Arve, a glacial river which has its source in the Mont-Blanc massif.
• Rivers and Torrents: Le Bronze, Englenaz, Rau de l'Englenaz, Tor de Balme, Rau de Gron, Tor de l'Epine, Rau de Gravin, Foron du Reposoir, Rau de Marnaz, Bézière de Magland .
