There are 1000 ways to discover our magnificent territory but only one to appreciate all the beauty of its landscapes! Wild, preserved nature, jewels of greenery, simple and accessible walks or even day hikes to take your eyes off, this is what we offer you here to prepare for your next outings.

NATURAL SPACES TO PROTECT

Nature is beautiful but fragile. Some places are so unique because of their exceptional flora and fauna that they must be protected. Two ENS sites are located in the Cluses Arve & Montagnes territory. This label is awarded by the Department for sites intended to be preserved and highlighted to the general public.

Fresh hikes

When it’s very hot, we sometimes hesitate to go hiking. And yet! Follow a path while letting yourself be guided by the murmur of the water, hear the roar of a waterfall in the distance and approach it until you feel the fine droplets of water on your skin, follow a stream through the -wood, enjoy the shade of a forest: these hikes allow you to walk in a cool environment over a large part of the route.

PROS AND GOOD EQUIPMENT FOR SAFE HIKING

Hiking is good, in good conditions it's better! The mountains can be unpredictable and when you set out to attack the peaks, you need to be well equipped and prepared. Do not hesitate to contact our mountain leaders or guides, they will be able to guide you.

GOOD ADVICE!

Before putting on your hiking boots, take 2 minutes to learn about the best practices to adopt in the mountains!

AT US, HIKING HAS ITS OWN DAY!

Since 2021, we have been celebrating the mountains and hiking. Each year, a different town hosts this event. Nordic walking, yoga, archery, hiking with donkeys...there is something for everyone. For young and old gourmands, a 3 km walk is possible by reservation. Many stops allow you to taste good local products from us.

TOOLS TO GUIDE YOU

Many hikes are available on our free app. This is an opportunity to go light. Your journey follows you in your pocket.

It is available on Google Play and Apple Store.

A COMPLEX ECOSYSTEM

If you walk the mountain pasture hiking trails, you have certainly already come across a herd accompanied by one or more patous or other protection dogs. Why is their presence necessary? How to behave towards them? You will find all the answers (or almost all) below.
