the sea of ice
Montenvers Train, yes it is indeed this little red train known throughout the world which takes you to the famous Mer de Glace. It is the largest glacier in France, located at a height of 1913m, on the Montenvers site. This site welcomes thousands of visitors each year, a true place of distraction and wonder facing the exceptional panorama at the foot of Mont-Blanc.

It is one of the most beautiful natural sites in the Alps. The Fer à Cheval cirque immerses you in exceptional nature with its limestone rock bars from which numerous waterfalls cascade. The town of Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval is classified among the “most beautiful villages in France” and is part of a protected nature reserve. In any season, you will be amazed by the beauty of this place!

Yvoire
Located on the French shore of Lake Geneva, this medieval city is a marvel in Haute-Savoie. It is also classified among the “most beautiful villages in France”. Many vestiges are still present: ramparts, fortified gates, medieval castle, atypical church, garden of the 5 senses... small streets with pretty stone houses which offer beautiful views of the lake.

Merlet Park
Facing Mont-Blanc, at an altitude of 1500 meters, the mountain animals of this park wander freely. A hiking route, without any difficulty, crosses forest and sunny meadows, punctuated by its old traditional mountain chalets. The unusual proximity to its numerous animals surprises and almost makes you forget their wild character.

the village of Lindarets
It’s the village of goats! Perched between Montriond and Avoriaz, this small mountain hamlet is a must for families. All summer long, the goats are at home, freely roaming the village. They wait to be pampered, to take photos with them and above all to give them treats.

The eagles of Lake Geneva
On the shores of Lake Geneva, enter one of the largest parks dedicated to raptors with 80 species, 250 animals on 8 hectares of protected nature. Shows are organized every day to introduce you to its birds of prey, in flight above your heads. Thrills and emotions guaranteed! Involved since its creation in the protection and conservation of birds of prey, the park is leading the reintroduction program for the largest eagle in Europe, the white-tailed eagle.

The Glières Plateau
A mecca of resistance with its national monument (it was chosen as a parachute ground by the Allies during the Second World War), the Glières plateau offers numerous activities and a panorama of the Aravis. It is a classified natural site Sensitive Natural Area (ENS) and classified Natura 2000 site : the preservation of animal and plant biodiversity, linked to human activities, is reinforced.

The Gorges du Fier
The Fier gorges are a remarkable natural curiosity in France, in Haute-Savoie, which can be visited using a footbridge fixed to the side of the rock, at approximately 45 meters in height. This spectacular canyon will amaze young and old.

Castle of the Lords of Faucigny
Discover one of the last fortified castles in Savoie Haute-Savoie. Bonneville Castle, also known as the Sires de Faucigny or Beatrix de Faucigny, is an old fortified castle, from the 13the century, the remains of which stand in the town of Bonneville. Located on a rocky hillock at the foot of the Môle, it was built around 1260 by Peter II of Savoy, and his daughter Béatrice de Faucigny.
